Winter Webinar Series starts February 3 with New Jersey Shield Program

Join us as our chamber presents the first in its Winter Webinar series. The February 3, 10am event is free to members, local organizations and businesses interested in learning about the New Jersey Shield Program. New Jersey Shield is a collaborative effort between the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness (NJOHSP) and the New Jersey Regional Operations and Intelligence Center (ROIC). This private-public partnership program fosters information sharing and strengthens collaboration by enhancing communication between New Jersey State agencies, homeland security representatives, and law enforcement officials, as well as private- and public-sector managers of security, emergency management, and business continuity. It will be presented by Jesse Hartnett, Analysts of the Risk Management Bureau of NJ Office of Homeland Security & Preparedness.

NJ Shield is a free service that serves as a centralized location for members to obtain counterterrorism, cybersecurity, and emergency preparedness information and resources. The chamber recognizes the importance of NJ Shield motto “Working Together to Build a Prepared and Resilient New Jersey”. It invites local private- or public-sector manager tasked with duties related to their organization’s security, emergency management, and business continuity to join in on Thursday, February 3.
