In Wedding & Party Planning

The couple were married at Brant Beach Yacht Club on October 26th, 2018. Herbe’s family has had a condo in Brant Beach for over 16 years and the couple take cares of the property in the summer. Herbe continued, “Which means we spend a lot of time on the island in season. It only seemed right to get married in a place that we’ve made so many memories together.”

The couple had many options for venues on LBI, but were quickly drawn to BBYC. “Brant Beach Yacht Club had everything we were looking for; indoor/outdoor views and space. There’s a patio right in front of the gorgeous bay view where (weather permitting) the ceremony can take place. They have a wrap-around porch deck with rockers that leads around to seating and tables on the deck where there’s also an outdoor bar. There’s a roof deck! Inside there’s plenty of seating for up to 200 people. There’s also a dance floor and indoor bar. The commodores room also allowed plenty of space for a photo booth and buffet set up. There’s also access to a small beach on the bay if one wants to take a stroll. Also, Michael (the General Manager) was wonderful! He was extremely informative and was always prompt in answering any questions we had,” Herbe raved.

In addition to magical venues, the LBI region is home to a huge variety of incredible vendors. The couple used two different local vendors to make their special day a hit. “We had Touch of Elegance as our caterer and they were fabulous! One stop shopping at its best. Rebecca is the General Manager and doubles as the best wedding coordinator/friend you could ever ask for. The food is AMAZING! From passed hors d’oeuvres to pasta bar to buffet to wait staff bringing guests drinks from the bar during dinner (what??), they were just the best. Chef Joe is personable and very talented. I cannot say enough good things about them,” Herbe shared.

Additionally, they also used Reynold’s Floral Market for their flower arrangements. “Jill and Caitlyn were so helpful and supplied us with a gorgeous variety of flowers for our centerpieces and that accompanied the cake and we didn’t feel like we broke the bank,” said Herbe.
