Southern Ocean Chamber shares the big things that are happening at Lacey Road Florist on August 17
The Southern Ocean Chamber invites the business and local community to join the Saturday, August 17 event to celebrate the major expansion of the popular floral shop Every Bloomin’ Thing at 9 Lacey Road in Forked River at noon. The partners Sylvia Cardillo, Heather & Gene Kinder along with their staff have worked to expand their 900-sf shop into a 4000-square-foot premier floral showplace. Ocean County, Lacey Township Officials, and Southern Ocean Chamber representatives have been asked to attend. After the ceremony, a light lunch catered by Little Italy Pizza will be served to those in attendance. The Bloomin’ VW Bus will be outfitted in a beach theme for a free photo station in front of the store, while inside, the shop will have the colors and scents of fall. All those who stop by the open house from noon until 2 pm will receive a complimentary flower.
Big plans are underway to go along with the upgraded shop including fall wreath and winter wreath-making classes as well as seasonal make + take flower arrangement workshops. The shop has also expanded its delivery service area ranging from Jackson to Brigantine. Hours include Monday through Friday 9-5, Saturday 9-3, Closed on Sundays.
