Holiday shopping lists can sometimes feel overwhelming and there’s always a few people on the list that leave shoppers feeling stumped on what to get! Help take the guesswork out of shopping for your customers and offer them a variety of gift ideas! Read below for a few creative ways to creatively market your products for the holidays.
Create Gift Categories
Shoppers are often utilizing online searches to help find inspiration on what to get hard-to-buy giftees. Give people a variety of ideas by creating gift categories. “Gifts for your Boss,” “Great Gifts for Parents,” “Perfect Holiday Gifts for Your Significant Other,” etc. Create a list of options for each category and share on your website and market through your email distribution list and social media platforms.
Create a few displays within your store that show off some of your most popular or best-selling products; gifts that would be suitable for just about anyone! If you have the space/motivation, create specialized displays for some of the gift categories you created!
Offer Gift Baskets
For those looking for something easy and certain to please, put together a variety of gift baskets. Make sure to create options at a few different price points for those working within a specific budget. Gift baskets are especially ideal for those looking for last minute presents, as they’re already wrapped up and ready to gift!
Promote Your Gift Cards
You can’t go wrong with a gift card! These work especially well for gift exchanges, as shoppers may not know who will end up getting their gift or the person they’ve been assigned. Add an incentive by offering a gift card for their purchase. For example, offer a free $10 gift card for purchases over $50, or a $20 gift card for the buyer for purchasing gift cards totaling $100 or more. For more information on how to market your gift cards, read our previous blog post here.
