Southern Ocean Chamber Holiday Hallmarks are meant to provide resources to businesses throughout the LBI region during the holiday season. The series will offer tips and tricks on how to standout as well as innovative marketing strategies, and will remind residents and visitors the importance of supporting local businesses.

An easy and cost-friendly approach to boosting holiday sales is to utilize your social media channels. Create a schedule of post ideas to keep you on track. Share everything from dessert recipes, meals specials and gift ideas to holiday hours. See below for a variety of ways to create great content on social media for the holidays.

Create a Branded Holiday Backdrop for Photos
Have your customers do your marketing for you! Create a holiday backdrop for photos featuring holiday decor with your business’s name clearly displayed. Customers may even come in just to get the perfect pic for Instagram and while they’re there, grab some food or do some holiday shopping!

Stories have nearly taken over the Instagram platform and offer special integrations like swipe-up shopping options. Utilize the highlights option on Instagram as well to save holiday content.
