Fantasy Island Amusement Park is located in Beach Haven, New Jersey, and boasts 19 amusement rides, games of all types, an arcade, food, an ice cream shop, a classic carousel, private party spaces and so much more! Located in the heart of LBI, they are the only amusement park on the island and have become a family-friendly staple. “We have been around for 34 years and we are very proud to be a big part of everyone’s vacation spent on LBI,” shared Jen Quinn, Director of Marketing for Fantasy Island Amusement Park and The Wireless Experience.

Quinn’s professional route was not initially directed at working in family entertainment. “I graduated with a BA in Music and then two years later a MA in Communication with a Public Relations concentration. While earning my Master’s, I interned for a group of local radio stations in their promotions department. I ended up working at the stations for just over 7 years in various positions in both the promotions and sales departments. After I left there, I went to work for an indoor theme park where I spent the next three years in various Marketing and Events roles. I began my current role with Fantasy Island back in January.”

Quinn greatly enjoys being able to work on a variety of projects, campaigns and events for the amusement park. She added, “Since I have the pleasure of working with such diverse companies and products, there is never a dull moment and always something awesome to be worked on next!” Working for a company that cares about it’s community and appreciates their employees doesn’t hurt either. “It’s a very collaborative work environment where we all work together to accomplish our goals. We also work to give back to the communities that our locations reside in,” Quinn remarked.

Fantasy Island puts a large focus on their guests and the experiences they have in the park. “We want Great-Grandparents to come back and say they remember coming here when they were a kid and now get to watch their Great-Grandchild enjoy the same amazing experience they that did,” the Director of Marketing said with excitement. It is easily apparent when speaking with Quinn that she truly enjoys her position and work. “I love helping to tell our story to the world through so many different outlets. Whether it’s our social media pages, our website, billboards, aerial banners on the beach, sponsoring a local event or planning an event; I get to help let our guests know who we are and why they should come visit us. Marketing blends creativity and analytics together, so I love coming up with a campaign and then using all the data we can to determine if it was successful or not,” Quinn declared.

This year, Fantasy Island is excited to announce that they will be open on weekends through Columbus Day (October 8th).
