Businesses are invited to join Southern Ocean Chamber get ready for the holiday shopping season, with county kick off of Shop Small Saturday and Holidays Redefined Shopping program with Ocean County Freeholder Virginia Haines at Mainland Holiday Inn in Manahawkin

Join the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce at their November 14 Innovate and Caffeinate breakfast meeting beginning at 815 am with networking, breakfast buffet and program. The event takes place at the Mainland located at 151 Rt 72 E Manahawkin and will provide Shop Small Saturday Kick off Materials as well as recognize the incoming Southern Ocean Made businesses.

The popular Holiday Redefined Shopping program was created to generate extra exposure for retail and restaurant businesses who are offering addition services and extended hours for holiday shoppers. Launched last year, Holidays Redefined Shopping Program shared updated blogs and social postings featuring participating members who are open, as well as in store specials and holiday happenings beginning. It all begins with the chamber’s Shop Small Saturday November 24 throughout the holiday shopping season. Freeholder Haines will be on hand to recognize the importance of shopping local and congratulate chamber members on a successful 30th Chowderfest. Dana Lancellotti from Ocean County Business and Tourism Development will announce how businesses can get involved in the new Ocean County Military Offer web page.

The cost to the event is $25 per person, with advance RSVP to the chamber office at 609 494 7211, by stopping into the visitor center at 265 W Ninth Street or emailing [email protected] .
