Travel plans begin months in advance, learn how we have partnered statewide to keep visitors planning well into 2022.

With travel and tourism on the rise, domestic flights, cruises and international travel on the horizon for many consumers; the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce has partnered with county and state entities to continue to present and promote the Long Beach Island Region to potential visitors, residents and new businesses. The accredited Destination Marketing Organization that serves the area recognizes that competition for travelers’ time and dollars will increase dramatically into 2022, as more options become available.

The region’s chamber will be attending a virtual AAA Road Trip USA Travel & Adventure Booth this May with fellow New Jersey Tourism Industry Association members. Building a virtual venue to showcase the LBI Region as part of the key destinations within the state. The online Eat, Drink & Buy digital guides, Land & Sea Passport links, virtual visitor center along with customized short play videos will highlight the natural resources and businesses that make up the area. For in person representation, the chamber will be one of the Ocean County Sponsors for the June 5-13 Philadelphia Flower Show taking place at FDR park. Land & Sea passport publications, QR code postcards and other material will be available for those who wish to take or scan their way to more information.

The Southern Ocean Chamber begins its 107 summer and continues to serve all local consumers.
