The Soroptimist Flag, also known as the LBI Flag, was designed in 1966 by 12 year old Jeffrey Huber during a contest by Soroptimist International of Long Beach Island. Flag sales are an important source of fundraising for the chapter as well as a unifying symbol across Long Beach Island. Consider purchasing this iconic flag to celebrate a new home, for a recent graduate on their way to school, or even to fly on your boat. Profits from flag sales directly impact the community through scholarship donations to area high schools, camperships for day camps, supporting domestic violence shelters, as well as our own scholarship programs – Dream It, Be It and Live Your Dream.
