Oldest White Marlin Tournament Continues this August

The Beach Haven White Marlin Invitational has been bringing boats from up and down the coast to the region every summer for 51 years. This summer, the Beach Haven Marlin and Tuna Club continues the tradition with anglers gathering to head offshore in search of the prized white and blue marlin, tuna, wahoo, and Dorado.  The club carries on 75 years of fishing history, with this tradition passed down through generations. Set for August 11-14, the invitation is out to fish against some of the best captains and crews in the 52nd Annual White Marlin Invitational set in Beach Haven. 

Registration is open for those who want to join the chase, kicking off August 11 at 3pm with in person registration at the Beach haven Marlin & Tuna Club location. Dinner and Captain’s meeting. Thursday is Fish Day option 2 with scales open at Dock Road from 5 to 830pm, Friday, August 13 is Fish Day Option 2 with scales open at 5-830pm. Saturday August 14 Fish Day Option 3 with scales open from 5-830pm and awards banquet at Beach Haven Marlin & Tuna Club at 8pm. In addition to bragging rights, there is a $50,000 Treasure chest to be split 9 categories with top payout going to Heaviest White Marlin. High Boat and Angler Awards can also be claimed as well as an opt in for Calcuttas payout.

For those staying on land, the club is kicking off their Dock Road Marlin Fest coinciding with the tournament, featuring merchants providing fishing equipment, clothing, gear, food, charter and boat sales information and the site for public weigh in. The Beach Haven Marlin and Tuna Club is located at 420 N Pennsylvania Avenue in Beach Haven.
