Labor Day Weekend brings on a variety of fantastic happenings as peak summer season comes to a close and fall begins to settle in. The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce has been recommending the best of the LBI Region since 1914. Each year their visitor center services thousands of residents, new and returning travelers. To celebrate, here are some events you will not want to miss.
Saturday September 4
Sand Castle Bash hosted by Drifting Sands at 9th Street Ship Bottom with registration beginning at 9am and event running until 2pm features building competition, judging and awards. Chances for individuals and families of all ages to win prizes and see professional Sand Castle Builder Ian Deibert.
Reynolds Garden Shop & Floral Market on East Bay Avenue, Manahawkin will be having their annual Good Ol’ Days Sale starting at 9am
Celebrate at Lucky’s Bed & Biscuit Anniversary with an in-store sale event at 508 East Bay Ave in Manahawkin from September 3 – 5.
Barnegat Volunteer Fire Department, Stop, Drop and Run 5k,10k, 1 mile fun run; starts at 8am, Municipal Dock, Barnegat Township
