Digital Tools Launch in time for National Plan for Vacation Day!

We are celebrating reaching new visitors on January 31, National Plan for Vacation Day, with launch of new edition of digital Land & Sea Guide, updated newsroom and virtual visitor center.

Representing the Long Beach Island Region of the Jersey Shore since 1914, we are reminding everyone that the last Tuesday in January is the official reminder to start your vacation plans for the new year. Our organization has chosen National Plan for Vacation Day to officially launch new digital tools including the latest online interactive travel guide, the Land & Sea Passport which offers local insight to this well-loved destination. We understand the importance of taking time off to travel—both for personal wellbeing and for the overall
economic prosperity of communities. Our Southern Ocean Chamber, funded in part by the NJ Division of
Travel and Tourism through statewide grants has put important information at the fingertips of early birds
who are looking for quick getaways or long awaited summer stays. According to the US Travel
Association, each year, Americans leave more than 600 million vacation days unused, and through the New
Jersey Tourism Industry Association work year round in keeping visitors aware of the benefits of time well
spent right in the LBI Region.

In addition to the digital guide, planners can get latest updates from their virtual visitor center
as well as the newly launched Coastal NJ Interactive Newsroom found here As always, we are a phone call away for material pick up or delivery at 609 494 7211
