Bayfront Festival Volunteers Welcome Oct 2 & 3

Two days of live music, beer on tap, and local vendors wind down ChowderMonth at the Taylor Avenue Waterfront, join the community to be part of the weekend.
Our members are planning a free 2-day Bayfront Festival to be held at October 2 & 3 at the Taylor Avenue Waterfront in Beach Haven. This event will cap off the official end of summer, with a line-up of live music, ChowderMonth Award Announcements, activities, beer on tap and seltzer/wine on ice as well as vendors selling end of season bargains. The festival hours are Saturday, October 2nd, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 3rd, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Volunteer positions are requested for Friday, October 1 from noon to 3pm set up, Saturday, October 2 9am to 530pm , Sunday, October 3 9am -430pm or 4-7pm clean up. There is no admission to attend, and this will not be a tasting event. Positions include: Entrance and Exit Gate Attendants, Beer Ticket Sales, TIPS Certified Beer Pourer, Set up/Clean Up, Credit Card Machine Operator, Cash Handling, Security and Customer Service/Info Booth
This year’s event is rain or shine. Volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes. Volunteers will receive a free T-shirt sponsored by Anderson Insurance Agency, which will be issued at the event. The arrival time for volunteers is 9:00 a.m. on both days. All volunteers must be over the age of 14, TIPS Certified 21 and over.
