National Bicycle Dealers Association Names Shore Brake Cyclery Top Retailer

Southern Ocean Chamber Member Shore Brake Cyclery was granted the highest Bicycle Retailer Excellence Award by the National Bicycle Dealers Association (NBDA)

Congratulations to Shore Brake Cyclery, located in Brant Beach, which was the only bicycle shop in New Jersey to earn this distinction amongst only 111 shops across North America. Founded in 2016, Shore Brake Cyclery is a local and family-owned, that is  committed to serving cyclists of all types, from the casual rider to the racing enthusiast. 

The NBDA’s Bicycle Retailer Excellence Award celebrates diversity and excellence in bicycle retail. With a focus on inclusivity, the program unites retailers, suppliers, industry organizations, advocates, and consumers in identifying and highlighting exceptional bicycle stores across North America.  Recipients will be acknowledged and awarded not only for their excellence in retail but their integrity, inclusiveness, spirit, and commitment to grow ridership.The Bicycle Retailer Excellence Award is an update on the past America’s Best Bike Shops Award Program, which was rebranded in 2021 to focus more on inclusivity while celebrating the diversity in bicycle retail. Shore Brake Cyclery was also a recipient of the Best Bike Shops Program in 2019 and 2020. Retailers from across North America will be recognized for their retailer excellence at a live ceremony to be held at the Big Gear Show in Park City, Utah this August.
