When Ken and I visited Hanalei years ago, we discovered the beauty and majesty of paddleboarding. It was popular there but hadn’t really “hit” LBI. Sensing an emerging trend (that coincidentally is our favorite sport):
South End Surf N Paddle was born.
We strive to make our surf store a happy, thriving gathering place for our beach community where everyone is always welcome to visit and stay awhile.
We are a classic board shop and have more boards then clothes. We shape many of our boards on-site. There are always 100 new SUPs and 75 new longboard surfboards in-stock. We have a good selection of wetsuits, gear, and apparel.
Join us for stand up paddle board (SUP) tours & lessons, take a surf lesson, learn sup yoga or take a free ukulele lesson on Tuesday nights during the summer. We also showcase musical talent as well as the work of local board shapers. And of course, old school surf movies are frequently seen playing on the walls of our wide-open store.
