We grow and maintain millions of baby clams and oysters in the Barnegat Bay Watershed which includes Barnegat Bay, Manahawkin Bay, and Little Egg Harbor Bay. We want people to understand the services that shellfish provide. They filter water, provide habitat, stabilize shorelines, and TASTE GREAT. Help us give them a better home so they can give us a better home.
RCTB is reaching more deeply into the community in different geographical areas. RCTB will also participate in shellfish studies being conducted by Rutgers, Stockton University, The Barnegat Bay Partnership, and Mordecai Island Land Trust. RCTB will also be involved in several living shoreline projects currently under consideration.
