The 13th Annual Wedding Road Show & Party Planning Tour held April 25 provided training and insights like none other for members, as well as an interactive production for attendees.
With new technology, consumer driven events like the popular Wedding Road Show and Parry Planning tour can take a deeper dive in showing what customers are looking for in 2021 and beyond. Our Chamber hosted a successful online event showcasing milestone celebrations in the LBI Region with 23 venues, party professionals, specialty shops and services. The event leads list generated over 330 registrations, logging in as close as Barnegat, Manahawkin, Forked River and Brick to Red Bank, Rockaway, Boonton and Basking Ridge NJ. Across the country some of the states represented included: California, Texas, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut , Massachusetts as far north as New Hampshire.
This year consumer contact and event information are only a small part of the insights shared, with data from the region chamber’s InEvent platform specific details Each vendor will receive a post show analytics package with attendee interaction, chat and poll responses.. They will also receive a specific list of who attended their booths, how long they stayed, how many files were downloaded, and online appointments booked. Along with live sessions and dozens of prize giveaways; the LBI Wedding Road Show was able to provide insights into where they are with planning, what type of information they would like to subscribe to and if they had heard of their business prior to the Road Show Promotion. The questions were customized to each booth, with the chamber staff on standby live for destination questions including beach ceremony and marriage license procedures.
With 34% of attendees responding that they have been introduced to the majority of the businesses for the first time through this event, it continues to be an economic driver. In addition to the three hour showcase, the chamber provided each member with 30 minute booth review zoom call and online expo training, social posts on dedicated LBI Wedding Road Show facebook, and Instagram, twitter, 2-4 shout out stories on IG and 4 additional training days via zoom for overview of the virtual platform. Samantha Cisternas, of Southern Ocean Chamber managed the event stated “This was an investment in the future of business, working as a community online to reach new audiences and use data for new strategies”. In addition to new 21st century innovations , the 107 year chamber also operates a Visitor Center at 265 W Ninth Street in Ship Bottom that fulfills orders year round for guest welcome bags with local business and area information.
