The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Ocean County College School of Business to present their March meeting “Navigating the Digital World” beginning at 930am via zoom.
The panelists represent a tremendous source of local knowledge, and will be sharing it through the perspective of Grassroots Social Media, Maintaining Google Knowledge Box, and Marketing Strategies regarding customer care. The speakers include
Jan Kirsten: As the Executive Director of College Relations at Ocean County College, Jan is responsible for marketing programs, brand management, special events, grants, and alumni. Her areas of expertise traverse the spheres of conference and event planning, public and media relations, and publicity.
Jim Malhmann: Working with a variety of business and non profit initiatives, Jim brings a expertise of programming, internet marketing, web design, cloud applications as well as market research strategies. Jim is a certified Google Adwords partner and instrumental in advancing technical education.
Professor Sean Bips: Serving as Chair of the Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism Management program for OCC, Professor Bips has held various hospitality managerial positions throughout the United States and in Europe with a primary focus on food and beverage operations, private events, meeting planning, and sales & marketing.
Topics will include platform visibility, Keeping websites fresh, using google products, securing your business digital fingerprint, and how local businesses are communicating new initiatives to their customers through various marketing strategies.
