Friday 8/2  – Designer Bag Bingo benefiting the Waretown Volunteer First Aid, Waretown Volunteer Fire Company and Ocean Twp PBA – hosted by the Waretown First Aid Auxiliary.  Doors open at 6pm, calling begins at 7pm. Must be 18 years to play. $35 to get in, includes 10 games. Extra game boards available for purchase. Super Bingo game boards are just $5 each.

Friday 8/2 – 4pm – 6pm First Responder First Friday at The Tuckerton Seaport – A complimentary BBQ and Friday Night Concert at the Seaport for all Tuckerton & Little Egg Harbor responders (Police, Firefighters, and EMT/EMS) and their families.  If you are a Responder and you’d like to attend to BBQ, please RSVP to [email protected]

Monday 8/5 – visit the Surf City Farmer’s market, running every through 8/26 at the Surf City Volunteer Fire Company & EMS building.

Tuesday 8/6 – A night of fun in Surf City with an award-winning documentary. Gourmet Hot Dog Bar with beer & wine. Organized by the Lighthouse International Film Festival and hosted by the Surf City Volunteer Fire Company & EMS. Film admission is $5. The film, Midnight Family, is thrilling, amazing and a one of a kind experience In Mexico City’s wealthiest neighborhoods, the Ochoa family runs a private ambulance, competing with other for-profit EMTs for patients in need of urgent help tickets/details visit

Sunday 8/11 – 9am – 3pm 11th Annual Poker in the Pines Motorcycle Run. Proceeds to Benefit Waretown Volunteer Fire Company. Pre-Register at Trapani’s 529 Rt 9 Waretown  -OR-
Register at Trapani’s ON 8/11 Between 9am and 11am. Run Ends at Waretown Lake – Stay For The After Party! Best Poker Hand – Live Music – Food/Drinks – Trophies – Bike Contest – Door Prizes $20/Rider & $10/Passenger Motorcycle Ride Approx 90 Miles.  ***RAIN DATE IF NEEDED AUGUST 18***

Friday 8/16 – 6pm First Responders Night at the Lakewood Blue Claws. Receive a ticket, hot dog, ice cream, soda, and a boardwalk voucher for $15. Emergency vehicles will be on display and the night will also feature fireworks and kids, 12 and under, run the bases.
