Five show-stopping LBI houses are dressed and decorated in all natural materials by The Garden Club of LBI from a 1750 farmhouse replica in Barnegat Light to a water-surrounded estate in Beach Haven.
The tour is from 10:am to 4:pm on Thursday, December 12.
Tickets are $65 and available through the club’s website at thegardencluboflbi.com
A box lunch is served to ticket holders at the Brant Beach Yacht Club
The Greens Shoppe is open at the Surf City Firehouse with local greens fashioned by The Garden Club into wreathes, baskets and table arrangements. Fresh cookie trays prepared in the kitchens of The Garden Club are for sale. Local vendors present the best of their wares for the holidays.
The Holiday House Tour and the summer Garden Tour are the two main fundraisers of The Garden Club, allowing for preservation of three public gardens, college scholarships, free learning experiences for school children and seniors, and protection of the LBI environment.
