Science Saturday: Marine Debris – What it is and Where it Comes From

November 10 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

$5

Extending our annual Science Saturdays, our Fall Science Saturday series at LBIF continues to partner with local experts to tackle todays’ most pressing scientific, environmental, and sustainability issues that directly affect our shore community and the Barnegat Bay. Science Saturdays are structured to be interactive and informative (and sometimes hands-on) presentations in an informal atmosphere.

Presenter: Kyle Gronostajski, Executive Director, Alliance for a Living Ocean

Learn all about the major issue of marine debris, specifically plastics, and how this global issue effects us locally. Learn about what you can do to help prevent the common items from entering the natural environment.
*Marsh clean-up following the presentation!
