The LBI Region welcomes fall with two days at Taylor Ave Bayfront in Beach Haven on October 2 & 3. This free festival brings local musical acts to the stage, along with vendor village, fall pumpkin patch, face painting, ChowerMonth champion announcements, food for purchase and for those of 21, great line up of alcohol beverages. With the support of long time sponsor Ritchie & Page Distributors the festival will feature Michelob Ultra, LandShark, Oktoberfest, Jetty, Bluepoint Toasted Lager, Shock top Twisted Pretzel on tap as well as cans of Babe Wine and Vodka Seltzers on ice. On site enjoy home baked treats from Anna Banana, A Sweet Memory and Crust & Crumb to sweeten up your day or take home, look for Chowder and other menu items from Chicken or the Egg, Country Kettle Chowda, Holiday Snack Bar, A Slice of Heaven Pizza and the Tide Table Group.
Festival hours are Saturday 11-5 and Sunday 11-4pm Vendor village includes the largest pop up sale of the year from Jetty, local artisans, games and giveaways from sponsors, businesses and organizations.
This is a non ticketed, non chowder tasting event. Festival goers can expect to enjoy two days of free music beginning Saturday Oct 2 at 11am with National Anthem performed by Jack & Carly Music then band line up starts with Joe Faronea Duo, Marty & The Martians at 1215, Billy Walton Band at 130, 40 North at 245pm and the Impulsives closing out the show at 4pm. Performing on Sunday Oct 3 will be Ted Hammock & Jay Booth at 11am, The Pickles at 1215, Drunken Clams Band at 130 and leading up to the Chowder Grand Champion announcements are The Way Outs at 3pm. The entertainment line up is presented by Health Village Imaging.
The members of the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce will be volunteering to put the festival on in celebration of the close of ChowderMonth with last call to vote happening at 11:55pm October 2. This service will be available at no cost for voters, check into three restaurants to receive your link to vote. Visit all 13 restaurants and win vintage merch for pickup at the free Bayfront Festival. Those who purchased the LBI Ferry for a sold out Fest Express can join us trip up the Tuckerton Creek from the Tuckerton Seaport.
