Chowderfest Contestant Closeup will take a look at 2018’s contestants, chef’s and recipes. Chowderfest will take place on September 29th & 30th, 2018.
SunnyRaes Kitchen, run by Chef Stephanie Smotrycz, offers food truck and personal chef services. Smotrycz has a seasonal truck set up at Bay View Park in Long Beach Township and regularly travels to local and statewide events. This year, the innovative chef will be entering into the creative category, serving up a chorizo and clam chowder. She added, “We hope to at least place in this category, so many awesome people and great recipes competing!”
SunnyRaes provides services for casual/formal dinners, cocktail/holiday parties, after-wedding brunches, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, backyard BBQ, clam bakes, lunches and breakfast. “Most people love us for our fresh cut fries, Pork Belly Tacos, Fish Tacos and Sliders!” the chef continued. SunnyRaes is now competing for the second time, but the chef and her team are excited just to be a part of the competition. “We just had so much fun last year, we know we will again this year!” said Smotrycz.
