Eat, Drink & Buy LBI Savings Pass

In response to concerns about rising prices this upcoming year, we are introducing a free, mobile-exclusive savings passport to appeal to locals and visitors. This pass will function as an incentive to draw new business and encourage consumers to stay longer. Similar to a free coupon book the major difference is that it is delivered via text and email to pass holders’ phones. The pass will tie in with our ongoing Eat, Drink & Buy LBI region campaign and will be marketed both inside and outside the LBI Region. The Business Boost Box program has been dissolved and this new program will take its place.

Here are the top 3 things you need to know when choosing to get involved:

1. As a member of the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce, there is no cost to your business to participate.

2. Southern Ocean Chamber of Commerce is asking all participating businesses to offer a coupon, giveaway, or discount to pass holders as an incentive to visit your business and spend money with you. There are options for other ways to save such as promoting free attractions, military discounts, and off-season savings. Deals take 3 business days to update.

3. Flexible redemption options are built to work with any type of business – no tech, low tech, or high tech; a pass holder would simply present the pass on their phone at your business to redeem the offer or discount.

As we have for Chowderfest and the Shop Small Save Big Holiday Pass we have partnered with Bandwango, to launch this project. Their team has successfully worked with many destinations throughout the US and Canada.
