Catch Free Summer Concerts Regionwide in 2025

Enjoy sounds of summer each day of the week in Southern Ocean County!

Save the Date for July 21 Epic Soul concert and the Southern Ocean Home, Dock, & Garden Show beginning at 4pm at Manahawkin Lake. With summer fast approaching, the Southern Ocean Chamber reminds everyone that free concerts are part of the region’s tradition. The family friendly line ups, showcase local and national talent. It provides an evening out with little planning while soaking in beach and bayfront locations. See below for full schedule of concerts with dates and times.

Concerts start up in June with Saturday night concerts happening at the Barnegat Municipal Dock starting June 7. Check out Wednesday evenings in Beach Haven’s Memorial Park, Thursdays at Ship Bottom Waterfront beginning July 3. Friday nights are for fire pits at the 68th Street Beach in Long Beach Township as well as Sunday afternoon concerts taking place from noon to 2pm starting June 29.

Round out your weekly calendar with concerts beginning in July with Monday at Barnegat Light Bay Park or head to Manahawkin Lake Park. Catch a concert on Wednesday at Harvey Cedar Sunset Park starting July 9. All of these concerts are free to public, please dress approximately for beach, grass and parking lot performances. Bring towels, chairs, and wagons to be comfortable. As with all outdoor events, they are weather permitting so look for township announcements regarding each performance. 

In addition to the free concerts, do not forget the amazing non profits that provide top talent in their venue, such as the Albert Music Hall in Waretown with Saturday night Bluegrass, Country and folk performances with doors opening at 5:30pm. For curated concerts, the Lizzie Rose Music Room in Tuckerton bring national and international musicians to this unique Victorian venue for one-of-a-kind sessions. Another venue capturing the best touring acts is the Stafford Township Arts Center in Manahawkin (STAC) featuring original and tribute artists. Tickets can be purchased at their box office or online. In addition to the mainland venues, Surflight Theatre and Long Beach Island Foundation host a variety of shows throughout the year.
