Make It Matter, A Message From Our CEO
I want to say thank you for welcoming me to my new position and the support you have shown our organization.
There is much to be thankful for this holiday season, and we can certainly start by showing the love for our fellow members this Small Business Saturday. For the past six years we have been championing the cause to encourage locals, visiting family and vacationers to spend Thanksgiving weekend with us. Shopping, eating, purchasing gift certificates, live performance tickets, planning their upcoming getaways, while taking advantage of in store specials, holiday events and open houses. The majority of our Southern Ocean County economy is powered by micro to small businesses. Our membership is filled with stories of families and entrepreneurs that are impressive and worth celebrating. As part of our Vision 2020 strategic plan, we will be rolling out new programs and the ability to share the achievements of our outstanding business community with consumers near and far.
We have a lot to look forward to in 2017, and I am so excited to be working with all of you to make the most of the many opportunities that are coming our way!
So now enjoy the upcoming holidays, and please eat your favorite foods, buy the extra gift, donate to a local charity that is important to you, appreciate those around you and support the businesses that make where we live extraordinary!
