History in the making for the next nine weeks as the 69th Annual LBI Surf Fishing Classic runs October 7 through December 10, 2023. With Striped bass, Blue Fish and the new addition of Kingfish there will be plenty to catch. Registration is required, early participants will receive a 2023 LBI fishing Classic Hat and Decal. Sign up and Weigh in stations for the Surf Fishing Tournament are located at Fisherman’s Headquarters in Ship Bottom, Jingles Bait & Tackle in Beach Haven and Surf City Bait & Tackle at Surf City. General Registration is $30, 17 years and under $15 per entry.
The tournament is filled with special segment, weekly, daily, Junior, Ladies and Senior Citizen prizes. Bonus prizes and bonus day prizes also offer extra cash and gift certificate awards. Every angler must present official LBI Classic Registration when weighing in a fish. This year’s rules and regulations are available on the LBI Surf Fishing Classic Website.
