This is not a crawl. This is an opportunity for enthusiasts 21 or older to experience our unique Jersey culture, get to meet local experts, try authentic products, and take part in the Long Beach Island Region like never before. Be sure to verify operating hours directly with the businesses

Learn about the Passport to LBI program. Pick up a copy at the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce’s Visitor Center (M-F 10-4pm) or download a digital copy here

Passport to LBI is an alliance of nonprofit organizations with a mission to encourage people of all ages to explore the diversity of LBI so they can appreciate it and preserve it for generations to come. Designed for families, home schoolers and visitors to dive deeper into the 18 miles of history, arts, culture and ecology of Long Beach Island. This free program can be started at any time by picking up a passport booklet and visiting the eleven sites listed below, as well as attending events that are scheduled throughout the island year round.

Easter Spring Break Pawty at Lucky’s Bed & Biscuit. Join them for Spring Break with Easter egg hunts, photos with the Easter 🐰 bunny, Sunday brunch & more!

April 10 – June 27

The Long Beach Island Surf Fishing Tournament presents it’s 19th Annual LBI Spring Derby!

Spring Break at the Tuckerton Seaport! The Lighthouse & Pop-Up Shop at the Lighthouse & Boardwalk & Nature Trail will be open 10-5 on: Monday, April 5, Friday, April 9 – Sunday April 11

Check in at the Welcome Booth upon arrival at the Lighthouse Gate to pick up your copy of the new 2021 Scavenger Hunt Activity Guide. This hunt will direct you to photo ops around our site. Learn about the coastal culture of New Jersey while also getting some fresh air. Admission is a family-friendly $5/person. Admission is on the house for children under 5, Veterans and Military, and Seaport Members. Also, if your family has a need for free admission passes, please email [email protected] and we can help you out.

Opening Day for Delaware Avenue Oyster House’s 2021 season. Doors open at 2pm.

Grab your flashlight and join us for an outdoor tour of Tuckerton Seaport! Families will explore the Seaport with a Tour Guide during this after hours experience.

Through sharing her personal story, Dr. Temple Grandin will provide insight and inspiration for all interested in better understanding, caring for, or working with individuals on the autism spectrum. Professor, author, and autism activist Temple Grandin, Ph.D. has lived a fascinating life, with challenges and successes. We are happy to welcome her as the keynote speaker for Ocean County Library’s 4th Annual Autism Resources Fair.  A “Neighbors Connecting” program made possible in part by an OceanFirst Foundation Arts and Cultural grant, sponsored by the Ocean County Library Foundation. All registrants will receive a link via email to access this virtual event the day before the program. The Stafford Township EMS Auxiliary is hosting their Second Annual Craft Fair at the Southern Regional HS 9/10 parking lot from 10am – 4pm. There will be a wide variety of vendors, live music, and food trucks.

The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce has packed this virtual experience with tips from industry experts, prize giveaways, scenic views, and information about the LBI Region. The Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences is hosting The PineLands Exhibition featuring compelling artwork depicting the area known as “The Pinelands” in New Jersey. The artwork can include nature, landscapes, habitats/environments, flora & fauna, wildlife, weather, architectural structures.
