Made up of two entities: the Island and the Pines, the LBI Region expresses a feeling of relaxation; opening up new spaces to explore while allowing you to unwind and savor what is at hand.

The beauty of our natural resources along with talented businesses and signature events are what makes time in the LBI Region so well spent. 

 

Lacey

Parks, zoos, and beaches are all waiting to spark your adventure. Spend a day at Popcorn Park zoo, then head out to a farm, and enjoy local shops and coffee houses. Lacey Township Beaches offers many things including the WIBIT, an inflatable water park!

Barnegat

Sugar sand beaches, inspired coastal lifestyle, with an independent and artisan spirit! Enjoy fishing from the Municipal Dock, walk the wooded path of the rail trail, see how Ocean County played a part at the historic Cedar Bridge Tavern site or explore Cloverdale Farm County Park to learn about New Jersey’s Cranberry Farming history. Take in award-winning restaurants, and special finds as you travel through this historic gem.

Waretown

Humming with music, and home to Wells Mills Park. The best place on the East Coast to hear live country, bluegrass, and Pinelands Music is Albert Hall. Open year-round with performances every Saturday, blend it with a visit to Wells Mills Park.

Stafford

The island is easily accessible by boat or car – a short trip from Atlantic City, Philadelphia, or Metro New York. From North to South, our island offers a variety of historic landmarks, arts and cultural events, outdoor activities, shopping, and dining.
